Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad,invites applicationsfromcandidates who are Indian citizens, to pursue research in modern biology leading to a Ph.D. Degree. The projects offered for Ph.D. would be in the broad areas of Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Developmental Biology, Plant Molecular Biology, Conservation Biology, Ecology, Protein Structure and Function, Biology of Macromolecules, Biology of Infection, Epigenetics, Chromatin Biology and Bioinformatics.

A. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPLYING

• Candidates with a Master’s degree in any branch of science or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Pharmacy/Medicine.

B. SELECTION PROCESS

1. Online applications will be screened and eligible candidates will be will be informed about a computer-based test or a remote proctored online test. The dates for the test would be announced soon.

2. Candidates qualifying in the test and having a valid FELLOWSHIP for pursuing Ph.D. will be shortlisted to appear for in-person interview at CCMB for which the dates will be communicated soon

A valid fellowship is an ABSOLUTE requirement for pursuing Ph.D. at CCMB, and the eligible fellowships are:

• Any National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, etc.), DST-INSPIRE or any other equivalent fellowship for pursuing Ph.D.

• Candidates with a BE/B.Tech degree in Biotechnology or in any engineering discipline must have a GATE score of at least 85.0 percentile.

• B.Pharm degree candidates must have a GPAT score of at least 85.0 percentile.

C. NOTE

• The fellowship MUST be valid by the time of joining (August 2023).

• Candidates with lecturer-ship only in CSIR-UGC (NET) examination or the M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm candidates with GATE/GPAT will not be shortlisted for interview.

• Candidates will have to make their OWN arrangements for travel, stay, etc. at the examination centre and/or in Hyderabad for interviews (2-3 days). Travelling allowance is not payable by CCMB.

• Candidates qualifyingbothpreliminaryandthefinal interview will be selectedfor pursuinga Ph.D. at CCMB. Mere fulfillment of the minimum requirements stipulated in the notification would not automatically entitle a person for selection. The decision of CCMB in this regard shall be final. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification.

एवं आणववक जीव ववज्ञान केन्द्र हब्सीगड़ा, उप्पल रोड, हैदऱाब़ाद-500 007,तेलंग़ाऩा , भ़ारत अगस्त 2023 पीएच.डी. कायक्रम (अधिसचना सख्या.02/2023) कोशिकीय एवं आणववक जीव ववज्ञ़ान केन्द्र, हैदऱाब़ाद, उन उम्मीदव़ारों से आवेदन आमंत्रित करत़ा है जो भ़ारतीय ऩागररक हैं, और जो आधननक जीव ववज्ञ़ान म िोध करने हत पीएच.डी. डडग्री लेऩा च़ाहते है। पीएच.डी. के शलए प्रस्त़ाववत पररयोजऩाएँ सेल ब़ायोलॉजी, मॉशलक्यलर ब़ायोलॉजी, जेनेटिक्स, जीनोशमक्स, डेवलपमेंिल ब़ायोलॉजी, प्ल़ांि मॉशलक्यलर ब़ायोलॉजी, कजविन ब़ायोलॉजी, इकोलॉजी, प्रोिीन स्रक्चर एंड फंक्िन, ब़ायोलॉजी ऑफ मक्रोमोलक्यल्स, ब़ायोलॉजी ऑफ इन्द्फेक्िन, एवपजेनेटिक्स, क्रोमैटिन ब़ायोलॉजी और ब़ायोइनफॉरमैटिक्स के व्य़ापक क्षेिों में होग़ा। (क) आवेदन करने के शिए पात्रता * उम्मीदव़ार के प़ास ववज्ञ़ान की ककसी भी ि़ाख़ा में म़ास्िर डडग्री य़ा इजीननयररग/फ़ामसी/चचककत्स़ा में स्ऩातक की डडग्री होनी च़ाटहए। * उपरोक्त म़ानदडों को पऱा करन व़ाल उम्मीदव़ार इस शलक क म़ाध्यम स 20-03-2023 तक अपने आवेदन ऑनल़ाइन जम़ा कर सकते हैं।

(ख) चयन प्रक्रक्रया 1. ऑनल़ाइन आवदनों की ज़ाच की ज़ाएगी और प़ाि उम्मीदव़ारों को कप्यिर आध़ाररत परीक्ष़ा य़ा ररमोि प्रोक्िड ऑनल़ाइन परीक्ष़ा क ब़ार म सचचत ककय़ा ज़ाएग़ा। परीक्ष़ा की त़ारीखों की घोषण़ा जल्द ही की ज़ाएगी। 2. परीक्ष़ा में अहडत़ा प्ऱाप्त करने व़ाले और पीएचडी करने के शलए वैध फेलोशिप रखने व़ाले उम्मीदव़ारों को सीसीएमबी में व्यक्क्तगत रूप से स़ाक्ष़ात्क़ार के शलए िॉिडशलस्ि ककय़ा ज़ाएग़ा, क्जसके शलए त़ारीखों की सचऩा जल्द ही दी ज़ाएगी। सीसीएमबी में, पीएचडी करने के शलए वैध फेलोशिप पणत: व़ांछनीय है और उपयक्त फेलोशिप के अंतगडत: * पीएचडी करने के शलए कोई भी ऱाष्ट्रीय स्तर की फेलोशिप (सीएसआईआर के जेआरएफ / एसआरएफ,यजीसी, डीबीिी, आईसीएमआर), डीएसिी-इंस्प़ायर य़ा कोई अन्द्य समकक्ष फेलोशिप। * ब़ायोिेक्नोलॉजी य़ा ककसी इंजीननयररंग ववषय में बीई/बी.िेक डडग्री प्ऱाप्त उम्मीदव़ारों क़ा गेि स्कोर कम से कम 85.0 पसेंि़ाइल होऩा च़ाटहए। * बी.फ़ामड डडग्री प्ऱाप्त उम्मीदव़ारों के प़ास कम से कम 85.0 पसेंि़ाइल क़ा जीपैि स्कोर होऩा च़ाटहए।

(ग) नोट * फेलोशिप ननयक्क्त के समय तक वैध होनी च़ाटहए। (अगस्त 2023 तक) * सीएसआईआर-यजीसी (नि) परीक्ष़ा म केवल लेक्चरर-शिप व़ाले उम्मीदव़ारों य़ा गेि/जीपीएिी व़ाले एमएससी/एम.िेक/एम.फ़ामड उम्मीदव़ारों को स़ाक्ष़ात्क़ार के शलए िॉिडशलस्ि नहीं ककय़ा ज़ाएग़ा। * उम्मीदव़ारों को स़ाक्ष़ात्क़ार के शलए हैदऱाब़ाद तक की य़ाि़ा और ठहरने (2-3 टदन) आटद की व्यवस्थ़ा स्वयं करनी होगी। सीसीएमबी द्व़ाऱा य़ाि़ा भत्त़ा देय नहीं है। * सीसीएमबी में प्ऱारंशभक और अंनतम, दोनों स़ाक्ष़ात्क़ारों में अहडत़ा प्ऱाप्त करने व़ाले उम्मीदव़ारों क़ा पीएच.डी.करन हत चयन ककय़ा ज़ाएग़ा| अचधसचऩा म ननध़ाररत न्द्यनतम आवश्यकत़ाओ को पऱा करन म़ाि से कोई व्यक्क्त चयन के शलए स्वतः प़ाि नहीं हो ज़ाएग़ा। इस संबंध में सीसीएमबी क़ा ननणडय अंनतम होग़ा। ककसी भी रूप में दष्ट्प्रच़ार य़ा अन्द्य कोई ऱाजनीनतक दब़ाव, अयोग्यत़ा के रूप में म़ाऩा ज़ाएग़ा। * पछत़ाछ के शलए संपकड करें: academic17phd@ccmb.res.in * अद्यतन जानकारी के शिए कपया वबसाइट ननयशमत रूप से देखें।
