BALAMURUGAN Assistant Professor/DBT-Ramalingaswami Fellow Department of Biotechnology BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY Tiruchirappalli 620024. ____________________________________________________________________ 03-03-2020 Tiruchirappalli NOTIFICATION FOR A POSITION OF PROJECT FELLOW Applications are invited for a Project Fellow position to work in the sanctioned Ramalingaswami Re-Entry Fellowship project entitled “System and molecular biology strategies to empower sustainable bioenergy resources” funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India at the Department of Biotechnology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024, Tamil Nadu. Qualifications: M.Sc. Biotechnology or any related technical disciplines with first class. Desired Qualifications: Candidates with rich experience in genetic transformation, generation of GM plants/algae, molecular biology tools will be given preference. Duration: Appointments will be made purely on a temporary basis initially for 9 months and may be extended till duration of the project depending upon performance and requirements. Salary: Rs. 16,000/- per month (Consolidated) General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance. The position is coterminus with the project. Candidate selected for this position may also apply for the regular PhD program (Biotechnology) in accordance with the eligibility guidance of Bharathidasan University. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
