WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF PROJECT ASSISTANT (02 NUMBERS) Applications are invited by the undersigned from the eligible candidates to attend for a walk-in-interview for TWO posts of Project Assistant (PA) to be recruited in the following CSB funded research projects. The candidate will be selected based on his/her qualification, experience and performance in the interview as per requirement of the project.

Project Title

: 1. AIE-06003SI “Evaluation of silkworm genetic resources of Bombyx mori L. with reference to inbreeding depression and their conservation” 2. PIE-06001SI “Collection, Characterization, Evaluation, Conservation and Supply of Mulberry Genetic Resources”

Essential Qualification

: a) For Project AIE-06003SI: B.Sc. in Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). b) For Project PIE-06001SI: B.Sc. in Life Sciences (Botany as one subject compulsory) with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Desirable Qualification

: a) For Project AIE-06003SI: Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture with experience in relevant field. b) For Project PIE-06001SI: Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture / M.Sc.in Sericulture / M.Sc. in Botany / Life Sciences with experience in data entry and field experimental work.

Emoluments

: a) Candidates with B.Sc. in Life Sciences - ₹.12,000/p.m.(consolidated) b) Candidates with B.Sc. with PG Diploma in Sericulture / M.Sc. in Life Sciences / M.Sc. in Sericulture - ₹.15,000/- p.m.(consolidated).

Duration of the Project

: a) For Project AIE-06003SI: Upto November 2022 (project period only). b) For Project PIE-06001SI: Upto November 2021 (Post will continue if the project is extended and/or otherwise for the project period only).

Age Limit

: 25 years as on date of interview (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates)

Interested candidates may attend the walk-in-Interview to be held at the institute on 15.04.2021 Thursday From 10 am to 04 pm.

Candidates are requested to produce the original documents and one set of selfattested copies along with the duly-filled application form at the time of the interview. (proforma available at institute’s website- www.csgrc.res.in).

At the time of interview, a passport size photograph, One photocopy each of certificates and marks sheets for educational qualifications from SSLC, PUC, B. Sc., M.Sc., PGDS, date of birth, research experience certificate, and caste certificate for SC/ST candidates, along with valid e-mail Id and telephone/mobile numbers.

The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the project/scheme period only. Further claim for any post will not be entertained thereafter.

Fresh B.Sc. passed candidates are encouraged to apply and preference will be given to Sericulture as one of the subject.

Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all respects.

Candidates attending the interview must follow the Covid-19 protocols adopted/imposed by the Home State Govt./District administration/Institute. Wearing mask and maintaining social distancing are compulsory at the institute campus.
