Walk-in-Interview for the post of Project Technical Assistant funded by DAE-BRNS Eligible candidates are invited for walk-in-interview for the position of one Project Technical Assistant. The details are given below, Project Details

Project Title:

Spatial distribution of uranium and associated water quality parameters in groundwater, surface water and drinking water in four districts (Una, Bilaspur, Solan & Sirmour) the state of Himachal Pradesh

Job profile:

Technical Assistant (One post)

Eligibility:

M.Sc.(In Chemistry or Environmental Science)

Salary (INR):

Rs. 14,000 /-

Job Location:

IIT Mandi, Kamand, Himachal Pradesh

Project Investigator: Dr Subrata Ghosh Associate Professor School of Basic Sciences, IIT Mandi.

Procedure: 

Interested and eligible candidates should bring their academic records, and one copy CV.



Bio-data should include personal details, academic qualifications, etc.



The PI has the discretion to select or not to select any candidate depending on academic qualification and interview performance.

Terms and Conditions:      

The nature of the post is purely temporary (on contract basis).

The upper age limit for the posts is 28 years (relaxation as per Govt norms).

Original documents need to be shown at the time of interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for any applicant.

Candidate should be able to join at the earliest if selected.

Selected candidate needs to travel frequently to different places of Himachal Pradesh for water sample collection.

Position is initially for six months which may be extended subject to fund availability and satisfactory performance.
