WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF PROJECT ASSISTANT (05 NUMBERS)
Applications are invited by the undersigned from the eligible candidates to attend for a walk-in-interview for five posts of Project Assistant (PA) to be recruited in the following CSB funded projects /general R& D The candidate will be selected based on his/her qualification, experience and performance in the interview as per the requirements of the projects.
Position : Project Assistant (PA)-01
Project Title : AIE-06009MI “Collection, Characterization, Evaluation, ConservationandUtilizationofsilkwormgeneticresources”
Essential Qualification : B.Sc. in Sericulture/Zoology with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and PG diploma in Sericulture.
Desirable Qualification : Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture/M.Sc. in Sericulture/M.Sc. in Zoology/with experience in relevant field/data entry and field experimental work. .
Emoluments : Candidates holding B.Sc. with PG Diploma in Sericulture / M.Sc. in Zoology/Botany/ Sericulture - ₹.20,000/- p.m.(consolidated).
Duration of the Project : January 2023 to December 2025
Age Limit : 30 years as on date of the notification (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates)
Position : Project Assistant (PA)-01
Project Title : PIE-06008SI “Exploration & Collection, Characterization, Evaluation, Re-establishment, Conservation and Supply of Mulberry Genetic Resources (MGRs) (Phase -X)”
Essential :
Qualification : B.Sc.in LifeSciences (Botanyas onesubject compulsory)with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and PG diploma in Sericulture.
Desirable : Qualification : Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture / M.Sc.in Sericulture / M.Sc. in Botany /Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with experience in data entry and field experimental work.
Emoluments : Candidates holding B.Sc. with PG Diploma in Sericulture / M.Sc. in Botany/ Sericulture - ₹.20,000/- p.m.(consolidated).
Duration of the Project : January 2023 to December 2025

Project Title : MTL01025MI “Life Cycle Assessment of Mulberry Silk: A NationalAssessment”
Essential : Qualification : B.Sc. in Life Sciences (Botany as one subject compulsory) with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)
Desirable : Qualification Plant Science with field experimental work only.
Emoluments : Candidates with B.Sc. in Life Sciences - ₹.15,000/- p.m.(consolidated)
Duration of the Project : February 2022 to January 2025
Age Limit : 30 years as on date of the notification (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates)
Position : Project Assistant (PA)-01
Project Title : Mulberry Germplasm activities/Routine work
Essential : Qualification : Candidates with B.Sc. in Life Sciences/Botany
Desirable : Qualification : Plant Science with field experimental work only.
Emoluments : Candidates with B.Sc. in Life Sciences (Botany as one subject compulsory)- ₹.15,000/- p.m.(consolidated)
Duration: For a period of 3 years w.e.f from February 2023 or till posting of Technical staff by CSB whichever is earlier
Age Limit : 30 years as on date of the notification (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates)

Project Title : Silkworm Germplasm activities/Routine work
Essential : Qualification : Candidates with B.Sc. in Life Sciences/Zoology
Desirable : Qualification : Zoology with field experimental work only.
Emoluments : Candidates with B.Sc. in Life Sciences (Zoology as one subject compulsory) - ₹.15,000/- p.m.(consolidated)
Duration: For a period of 3 years w.e.f from February 2023 or till posting of Technical staff by CSB whichever is earlier

Note:
▪ Interested candidates may attend the walk-in-Interview to be held at the institute on 03.03.2023 Friday from 10 am to 04 pm.
• Candidates are requested to produce the original documents and one set of self-attested copies along with the duly-filled application form at the time of the interview. (proforma available at institute’s website- www.csgrc.res.in).
• At the time of interview, a passport size photograph, One photocopy each of certificates and marks sheets for educational qualifications from SSLC, PUC, B. Sc., M.Sc., PGDS, date of birth, research experience certificate, and caste certificate for SC/ST candidates, along with valid e-mail Id and telephone/mobile numbers.
• The engagement will be purely on temporary basis. Further claim for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all respects.
• Candidates attending the interview must follow the Covid-19 protocols adopted/imposed by the Home State Govt./District administration/Institute. Wearing mask and maintaining social distancing are compulsory at the institute campus.
