A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 18th June, 2018 at 11.00 a.m in the Seminar Room, Division of Plant Biology, Centenary Campus, Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for one position of Research Associate in the CSIR sponsored project entitled, “Exploring membrane-associated NAC-transcription factors (NAC MTFs) in tomato to apprehend membrane-mediated signaling during pathogenesis” under the guidance of Dr. Pallob Kundu, Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 30.09.2018. Details of qualification, associateship, age etc. are as follows : Essential Qualification : M.Sc./M.Tech. degree followed by a Ph.D. degree in Botany or Biochemistry or Biotechnology. Desirable Qualification : Experience in plant tissue culture, plant transformation, maintenance of transgenic plants under confinement and plant molecular biology techniques. Associateship : Rs.36,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical Benefit. Age : Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only, as per rule.)
Eligible and Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee in the Seminar Room, Division of Molecular Medicine with a typed application in a plain paper addressed to the Sr. Prof. & In-Charge, Registrar’s Office, Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700054 along with a Bio-data giving details of qualification and stating the area of research experience with copies of mark sheets, certificates, reprints of publications, proof of age. Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates and a copy of thesis. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
