ADVT. NO. : S/DMM/08/2019-20 A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 18 th July, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Faculty Room, Division of Molecular Medicine, Bose Institute, Centenary Campus, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kolkata 700 054 for One (01) position of Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow (Extended) in the DBT sponsored project entitled, “Investigation of the Transcriptional Regulation of miR-325 and Evaluating its Potential as a Therapeutic Agent for Cancer” under the guidance of Prof. Gaurisankar Sa, Division of Molecular Medicine. The project is tenable upto 19.12.2021. Details of qualification, fellowship / associateship, age etc. are as follows: •
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. degree in relevant field of Life Science/ Bioinformatics for RA. Those who have submitted Ph.D. thesis may be considered as SRF(Extended).

Research Experience : Cancer biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, analysis of high throughput genomics and transcriptomics data.

Associateship / Fellowship : Rs. 36,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA for RA and Rs. 28,000/- p.m. plus admissible H.R.A. for SRF(Extended).

Age : Below 35 years for RA and below 33 years for SRF(Extended). (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules)
Eligible and Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Registrar (Officiating), Bose Institute, P-1/12 C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards with attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets and testimonials. The Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates, testimonials and reprints of publications and one page summary of thesis etc. at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
