Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in the DBT sponsored project entitled “Developing an optimized toolkit for inducible genome editing and regulation of gene expression in tomato plant: implications in adjusting complex traits via synthetic biology approach” under the guidance of Dr. Pallob Kundu, Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 15.07.2021. Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows : •
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. / M.Tech. degree in Life Sciences with NET* qualification.

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA.

Age : Below 28 years as on the day on which the application is made. (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules)
Revised fellowship w.e.f. 01.01.2019 will be applicable after receipt of revised grant under ‘Manpower’ head from DBT.
*As per DST Office Memorandum No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019, the examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as CSIRUGC, DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER
are considered as
National Eligibility Test (NET).
