ADVT. NO. S/ESS/03/2019-20 A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 29th May, 2019 at 11.30 a.m. in the Centenary Campus of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M. Kolkata 700054 for one position of Project Assistant in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Govt. of India, sponsored project entitled, “National Carbonaceous Aerosol Programme (NCAP) working Group III” under the guidance of Dr. Abhijit Chatterjee, Environmental Sciences Section. Details of qualification, salary, age etc. are as follows: Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. (Environmental Science / Atmospheric Sciences) / B.Sc. (Physics / Environmental Science / Chemistry) / B.E. / B.Tech from a recognised University / Institution with minimum of three (03) years of experience in the field related to atmospheric/ environmental science. Desirable Qualification : Good knowledge in the field of atmospheric science, air quality, aerosols etc., computer usage and software packages. Special preference will be given to those who have experience in air pollution and air quality monitoring and analytical instruments. The fellow will mainly be engaged in collecting aerosol samples, running and maintenance of aerosol samplers, conducting surveys etc. Salary

:

Rs. 23,500/- p.m., plus 30% HRA for the year 2019-20 and Rs. 26,000/- p.m. plus 30% HRA for the year 2020-21

Age : Below 35 years as on the day on which the application is made. ( relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates as per rules). Duration : The position is tenable upto 31.03.2021. Nature of Job : The fellow appointed as Project Assistant would be engaged in running an aerosol sampler for the collection of aerosols on regular basis. The sampler should be properly maintained, calibrated regularly. The Project Assistant would be engaged in conducting field surveys in different districts of West Bengal for collecting date from various sectors like domestic, agriculture, brick-kiln and vehicles. In addition, other technical and administrative jobs related to the project also need to be taken care of by the fellow. Eligible and Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Registrar (Officiating), Bose Institute, P-1/12 C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards with attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets and testimonials. The Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates, testimonials etc. at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
