NOTIFICATION Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of three nos of Young Professional – I or Young Professional-II or SRF depending on eligibility and performance in the interview on temporary basis under the “National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Diseases” at this institute.

Qualification First class Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Marine Biology, Zoology

Age Limit 40 years for men & 45 years for women.

Desirable: Research experience in Aquaculture, Fisheries, biology, microbiology, molecular biology, Age relaxation biochemistry as evident through dissertation/project is applicable for work/ research publication.

SC/ST/OBC as per GOI norms.

Based on the performance and evaluation after 3-4 months, Young Professional-I may be considered for Young Professional-II based on the eligibility.

First class Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Marine 40 years for men Biology, Zoology & 45 years for women.

Desirable: Research experience in Aquaculture, Fisheries, biology, microbiology, molecular biology, Age relaxation biochemistry as evident through dissertation/project is applicable for work/ research publication.

SC/ST/OBC as per GOI norms.

Essential: First class Post graduate degree in Life 35 years for men Sciences, Marine Biology, Zoology with specialization & 40 years for in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry with women.

NET qualification and 2 years of experience or Age relaxation Post graduate degree in professional courses with is applicable for specialization in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ SC/ST/OBC as Molecular Biology and 2 years of experience per GOI norms.

Desirable: Research experience in Aquaculture, Fisheries, biology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry as evident through dissertation/project work/ research publication.

Applications received after the above said prescribed last date will not be entertained under any circumstances.
