Advertisement for research positions- Project Scientist-II, Senior Project Associate and Project Associate-I
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up one position of Project Scientist-II, one position of Senior Project Associate and one position of Project Associate-I for an internationally funded project entitled “Development of high-throughput screening assays to identify antivirals targeting multiple stages of henipavirus life-cycle” under Dr. Madhuri Subbiah & Dr. Nagendra Hegde.
(i) Project Scientist-II (one) with consolidated pay of INR 86,500 p.m that includes 27% HRA and with 5% increment after two years of joining the project, subject to performance review.
Eligibility criteria: Doctoral degree in Science; or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from recognized University in relevant field and three years’ research experience in industry or academia in relevant field.
Upper Age limit: 40 years
(ii) Senior Project Associate (one) with consolidated pay of INR 54,200 p.m that includes 27% of HRA and with 5% increment after two years of joining the project, subject to performance review.
Eligibility criteria: (A) Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelors in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from recognized University or equivalent with four years’ experiencein R&Din industry/ academiainrelevant fields or (B)Doctoral degree in Science/ Technology from recognized University in the relevant field.
Upper Age limit: 40 years
(iii) Project Associate-I (one) with consolidated payof (i) INR 40,000 p.m that includes 27% HRA and with 5% increment after two years of joining the project, subject to performance review, for suitable candidate with NET or GATE or selected through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies/ institutions OR (ii) INR 32,300 p.m that includes 27% HRA and with 5% increment after two years of joining the project, subject to performance review, for suitable candidate who does not fall under (i) above.
Eligibility criteria: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelors in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from recognized University or equivalent. Candidates having prior experience in molecular techniques involving nucleic acid isolation, quantification, amplification, molecular cloning and with cell culture experiences will be preferred.
Upper Age limit: 35 years
