NOTIFICATION Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of “Senior Research Fellow” on contract basis for the UKRI’s Medical Research Council, UK funded project entitled “COVID-19 Neurological Disease: A Prospective Case Control Study in Brazil, India and Malawi” under Dr.Anita S Desai, Professor & Head, Dept. of Neurovirology & Principal Investigator, NIMHANS, Bengaluru. Senior Research Fellow 1 (one) Masters Degree in/ Microbiology/Virology with 2 years of experience of working in clinical microbiology/virology diagnostic laboratory Prior work experience with serological/molecular techniques used for diagnosis of brain infections Knowledge of inventory maintenance of samples, kits and regents 30 Years Rs.40,000/- (Consolidated) P.M The position will be based at NIMHANS, Bengaluru. Should perform laboratory tests on samples received from patients enrolled in the project, assist the PI’s and Co-PI’s training of laboratory technicians at other sites and monitoring lab result obtained at all sites. Nine (9) months. Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate.
