Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the post of “Junior Research Fellow” in the ICMR funded project titled “Circulating miRNAs and brain derived plasma proteins as peripheral indicators of neurodevelopment and Cognition in the consortium on vulnerability to Externalizing Disorders and Addictions (cVEDA) cohort” under Dr. M.M. Srinivas Bharath, Professor & Head, Department of Clinical Psychopharmacology and Neurotoxicology, and Principal Investigator.

Educational Qualification
Candidates with M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Genetics from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests/CSIR/ UGC-NET and GATE.
The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc etc.

Salary Structure
Experience in molecular biology techniques including miRNAworkandreal-timeqPCR
Rs. 31,000/- per month + 27% HRA
Maximum Age Limit 30 years
Nature of Work
The candidate will be involved in designing and conducting experiments and data analysis related to the project and any other technical and administrative work assigned by the project investigators.
Duration of the post Three Years
Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and will be extended till the end of the project subject to performance of the candidate
