Applicants are invited to appear for a walk-in interview for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, on 29th Aug 2019 at 10:00 am. One position of Senior Research Fellow against the following project: (i) DBT funded project entitled “Genomics assisted pathobiology to identify novel targets for diagnosis and therapeutic intervention(s) of Japanese encephalitis and Leptospirosis�. PI: Dr. Ravi Gandham, Co-PIs- Dr. Subeer S. Majumdar, Dr. Syed M. Faisal, Dr. Pankaj Suman. Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course having NET/GATE or selected through national level examination conducted by DBT/DST/MHRD/ICMR/IIT/IISC/IISSER. The candidate should have minimum two-year research experience preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated 21.10.2014 and SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). However, Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility (Duration - 6 months). Fellowship amount: Rs.35000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines. Experience: Candidate with experience in Molecular biology and Immunological techniques, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and animal (mice, hamster) handling is desirable. Candidates having prior experience in working with JEV and Leptospira will be preferred.
