NOTIFICATION NIMHANS is conducting Walk-in-Selection for the post of Junior Research Fellow on contract basis in DST funded project titled “Elucidating the histones role in -synuclein aggregation: A precursor for Parkinson’s disease” – under Dr. Padavattan Sivaraman, Assistant Professor of Biophysics & Principal Investigator. Junior Research Fellow 1 (One) M.Sc / M.Tech / M.Phil degree in Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics, and Microbiology. Candidate with minimum one year of research experience in cloning, protein purification, biophysical techniques, and crystallization are desirable. The project involves extensive cloning, protein purification, Electron Microscopy and Protein crystallography techniques. For reference about the laboratory work, candidates are encouraged to read – Sharma D et.al. (2019) Nature communications (PMID: 31848352), Davey GE et.al.
