Walk-in interview will be held for the post of Junior Research Fellow under DBT Project entitled “Evaluation of different rapid molecular methods for the diagnosis of mycobacterial infections (M.tuberculosis &NTM) and to study the various mechanisms of drug resistance due to Mycobacterium tuberculosis in patients of suspected tuberculous meningitis.� under Dr Kusum Sharma, Professor, Department of Medical Microbiology, PGIMER, Chandigarh on 19.10.2019 at 10.30AM. The post is purely on contract basis till the project is continued. Interested candidates may appear for interview in Department of Medical Microbiology, Room no. 225, Research Block-A, 2nd Floor, PGIMER, Chandigarh. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Post: Junior Research Fellow 1 position Pay: As per DBT rules Duration: One Year or termination of project whichever is earlier. Qualifications: M.Sc. (Microbiology/ Biotechnology or equivalent) Desirable: Preference will be given to experienced person with NET cleared. Experience in molecular techniques will be given priority. The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the project is purely temporary, the incumbent selected will have no claim for regular appointment under DBT or continuation of his/her services in any other project. No benefit of Provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be given.
