Advertisement for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position
Applications are invited for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position to work in ICMR funded project, details are given below:
Project Title
R7RGS-G protein beta 5 complex regulates intercommunication of different cardiac cell types to attenuate chemo-induced cardiac pathologies

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIRincluding lecturership (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
Essential Qualifications
b. The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
With two years of research experience.
Desirable Experience
Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in physiology and molecular biology.
The upper age limit for applying for the SRF shall be 32 years.
Age Limit
Upper age limit for SRF is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to schedule castes/schedule tribes, physically handicapped and women applicants whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates).
Tenure Till end of the project.

Age Limit
The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 25 years as on last date of application.
Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and Ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.
