FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) 1. What is the eligibility criteria for the Project Training? The Institute provides opportunities for outstanding students to carry out project work under the supervision of the Institute's Scientists towards partial fulfilment of their postgraduate degree (of at least Six Months duration Session I- January-June and Session II-July-December). The minimal eligibility criterion for consideration of the requests is Ist Division or an equivalent grade (or at least 60% of aggregate scores) in all major examinations starting from the secondary school examination onwards. Students who are pursuing master's degree (e.g. M.Sc., M.Tech., M.Pharm, M.V.Sc. and Integrated Master's students in 4th year etc.) may apply. 2. What are the essential items needed for completing the online application for Project Training Programme - January to June and July to December ? Please have the following items ready and handy –
a) A valid email address, an active mobile phone, and an active internet connection. b) A passport size photograph of the candidate (formats: .jpg/.jpeg/.png; file size: 20 - 60 kb; file size). c) A scanned picture of the candidate's signature (formats: .jpg/.jpeg/.png; file size: 10 - 30 kb; file size). d) Scanned copy of Recommendation letter from his/her HOD of the College/University, the format of the certificate is as under :

3. What is the period for applying the Training? Applications for January-June slot will be accepted only from 15th September to 15th October every year and only selected students will be informed by 31st October. Applications for July-December slot will be accepted only from 15th March to 15th April every year and only selected candidates will be informed by 30th April. Late applications will not be considered.
