The engagement is purely on temporary and contract basis under the sponsored projects undertaken by CSIR-NEERI, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the projects, satisfactory performance/conduct of the candidate and will be coterminous with the project duration. Maximum duration in one project or in different projects taken together in CSIR shall not be more than five years in any case. The Project Assistants will be working at NEERI, Chennai Zonal Centre, Chennai. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and should be in the area mentioned above.
