Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – One post for the ICAR – Outreach project on “Estimation of methane emission under different feeding systems and development of mitigation strategies” functioning at the
Department of Animal Nutrition, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007. The appointment is purely on temporary basis and liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. The service of the person so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project. The essential qualification, remuneration and age limit are given below:

Masters degree in Animal Nutrition/Animal Husbandry/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry and equivalent 6 months working Experience in a reputed laboratory and capable of Handling analytical equipments and working with livestock Rs 25,000/- per month + Allowance as in force 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC & Women candidates as per GOI/ICAR).

The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test (objective type) followed by interview, work experience, etc. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The selected candidates will have to execute a bond for Rs.5,000/- per annum before joining duty.
