Alpha Health Foundation DBT Funded Project JRF Position Vacant

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DBT Project BT/PR26455/MED/12/775/2017 Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with monthly fellowship of Rs 25,000 p.m. + HRA in DBT funded project titled ‘EPIGENETIC REGULATION OF GIPR (GLUCOSE DEPENDENT INSULINOTROPIC HORMONE RECEPTOR) SIGNALING AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THERAPEUTIC RESPONSES IN MODY3 PATIENTS’, for three years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential qualification: Candidates with M.Sc degree in any branch of Biological Science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-NET/DBTJRF/UGC-JRF/GATE will be preferred. Selected candidates can enroll in the Ph.D. program of the institution (AHRC, affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University). A good academic record, inquisitiveness to do science, independent worker, a good team player and skills in techniques such as cell culture, animal studies, DNA methylation studies are desirable.
