Regional Centre, ICAR-Central Avian Research Institute (Opposite to Kalinga Studio / Studio Chhak), P.O.: Baramunda Bhubaneswar - 751003. 1st year & 2nd year : Rs.31000 + HRA Emoluments 3rd year Rs 35000 + HRA (As per OM No. SR/S9/Z-09/2018 Dated: 30.01.2019) Qualifications Essential: Master in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) or Post graduate degree in relevant professional courses selected through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions viz. DST, DBT, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR IISc, IISER etc., OR Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Animal Science/ Life Science/Zoology/Animal Biotechnology and allied disciplines and qualified in NET/GATE/any National Level Examinations conducted by DST, DBT, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR and IIT for JRF. Desirable & work experience Experience of working in poultry handling Knowledge of computer applications Nature of job He/she has to perform various wet lab jobs as required in the project such as helping in selection & breeding, housing management of ducks, genome analysis etc. He/she will also assist in computerization and analysis of data and report writing. Any other works as required for execution of project work as and when desired by project team. Age Below 35 years on the date of interview (relaxable to SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per rule). The above position is purely temporary and candidate will be engaged initially for a period of 6 months at a time but is extendable until termination of the research project subject to satisfactory work performance. The selected candidate shall not claim any regular appointment at this institute. The position is co-terminus with the project or earlier at any time without assigning any reason depending on the performance or otherwise. The duration of project is 3 years.
