Department of Experimental Medicine & Biotechnology Postgraduate lnstitute of Medical Education & Research Sector-12-A, Chandigarh - 160012 NOTICE Applications are invited for one (1) post of Junior Research Fellow in the ICMR funded project entitled "Development of damage-induced long non- coding RNA as an indicator of tumor progression in oral cancer" with Dr. Sheetal Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Experimental Medicine & Biotechnology as per details given below: Name of post: Junior Research Fellow- 01 position.

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Genetics/Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Immunology/Biotechnology Desirable: Candidates with experience in handling mammalian cell culture, western blotting, realtime PCR, gene and protein expression will be preferred.

Upper Age limit: upto 28 years.

(Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH /women candidate as per rules).

Remuneration: As per ICMR rules.

The engagement in the project is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.

However, appointment will initially be offered for a period of 1 year and may be extended on a yearly basis depending upon satisfactory performance of the candidate. Please note that it is not a PGIMER/ICMR appointment and will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position.
