Ltd., with following details: Title of the project: “Processing of waste placental tissue from maternity wards into regenerative tissue grafts for non-healing wounds and other clinical applications”. Work Location: Tata Memorial Hospital, Lower Parel, Mumbai. Essential qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Lifesciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or other medical or life science related subjects, or, a DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology). An ideal candidate should: • Have a fundamental understanding of human anatomy and physiology • Proficient in tissue handling, histology and small animal work • Be able to perform basic molecular techniques Job Description shall include (but not be restricted to): • Processing of tissues • Preparing the graft labels. • Maintenance of the equipment record. • Maintenance of logbooks, ledgers and files • Maintenance of the tissue bank donor, recipient and graft records Age limit: Must not be more than 30 years as on closing date of application (relaxation as per the norms/ orders of GOI). Salary: As per DST norms (Approximately Rs 31,000 + HRA /month if candidate HAS qualified an exam such as GATE/NET/CSIR-UGC, etc.; approximately Rs 25,000 + HRA /month if candidate HAS NOT 1
