Department of Pharmacy CALL FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW FOR A “THE OFFICE OF PRINCIPAL SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR (PSA), GOVERNMENT OF INDIA (GOI)� SPONSORED PROJECT Date: 18 December 2018 Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by The office of Principal Scientific Advisor of the Government of India, under the supervision of Dr. Sandeep Sundriyal, Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan Title of the project: Design and synthesis of Mycobacterium UDG inhibitors Duration of the project: 1 year Project position and number: JRF (01) Fellowship amount: 25,000 INR (consolidated) Eligibility requirements: M.S./M. Pharmacy (Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
This project is in collaboration with the distinguished researchers at IISc, Bangalore. The candidate will get an opportunity to learn modern synthetic chemistry techniques as well as molecular modeling and cheminformatics software. The position may be extended based on the funding situation and/or performance of the candidate.
