Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of a post of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for the ICMR funded Project entitled “Rational drug discovery and development of potent inhibitors of an epigenetic marker, BRD2: A potential therapeutic target for glioblastoma ” under Dr. B. Padmanabhan, Professor & Principal Investigator, Department of Biophysics.

Educational Qualifications:
Postgraduate in Biophysics / Biotechnology / Biomedical Science / Life Sciences with CSIR-NET, GATE, or equivalent
Experience: Applicant should have substantial experience in
(i) molecular biology and protein biochemistry involving cloning, protein expression & purification, and biochemical studies.
(ii) Structural Bioinformatics
(iii)Experience in protein crystallography is preferable but not mandatory.
Desirable: One or two years of Research Experience in the Relevant Field
Age limit: 28 Yr’ s
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 27% HRA
Tenure: Initially for one year and will extend to two more years depending upon the candidate’s performance.
