Walk-in-Interview Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta Interested eligible candidates are requested to apply and appear before a selection committee on 28/02/2020 at 11.00 A.M. in the Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta (Ballygunge Science Campus), 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-700019 for recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow for the project (EEQ/2019/000750) titled ‘‘Investigating the role of the genome in understanding the diversity and adaptive strategies among the frogs in the Darjeeling Hill Region’’, funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, Government of India, under the guidance of Dr. Rakesh Tamang (PI), Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta. Duration of the project: Three Years. Essential Eligibility and qualification required for JRF: Post-Graduate degree in any branch of life sciences with at least 60% marks from UGC recognized University. Desirable qualification: NET / SET/ GATE Fellowship: Rs. 32,500/- pm for the first two years and Rs. 36,400/- for the third year Upper Age limit: 28 years.
