Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up one post of Junior Research Fellow and one post of Lab Technician on-contract basis for the ICMR funded project entitled “Epidemiology, molecular characterization and antifungal susceptibility of dematiaceous fungi isolated from patients with cerebral phaeohyphomycosis: a multicenter prospective study from India” under Dr.Arghadip Samaddar, Assistant Professor, Department of Neurmicrobiology, NIMHANS.

Educational Qualifications

M.Sc. Microbiology/ M.Sc. Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Medical Microbiology from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. Should have minimum of two years of hands on experience in Microbiology Laboratory after post-graduation

Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests/CSIR/ UGC-NET and GATE. The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc etc

Desirable Qualifications

Candidate with experience in molecular techniques, such as PCR and sequencing

Maximum age limit 28 years

Emoluments Rs. 31,000/- plus 27% HRA per month only

Duration of the post 1 Year

Initial appointment will be made for a period of 03 months, which will be extended depending upon the performance of the candidate.

Desirable Qualifications

One year or more experience in a research project

Maximum age limit 30 years

Emoluments Rs. 18,000 per month only

Duration of the post 1 Year

Initial appointment will be made for a period of 03 months, which will be extended depending upon the performance of the candidate.
