Advertisement for one JRF position in DST(SERB)-ECR grant A walking interview will be held on for one JRF position in DST(SERB)-ECR grant entitled “Highly Conjugated Supramolecular Organometallic Architectures Bearing Polycarbene Ligands: Redox-Activity, Cooperativity, Molecular Hosts and Selective Organic Transformations” under the supervision of Dr. Ramananda Maity(PI), Department of Chemistry, CU. Eligible candidates may send their application either via post or through email to Dr. Ramananda Maity before the interview deadline. Application material may include a cover letter, detail CV and scan copy of self-attested testimonials. Qualification required: M.Sc. in Chemistry from a reputed University with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) and valid NET(L.S.)/GATE qualification. Experience in pre or post MSc project work as synthetic inorganic chemist is preferred. Age: As per DST and Govt. norms. Tenure: Initial appointment will be given for one year and is subjected to extendable based on performance and availability of the grant. Remuneration: Monthly emolument of Rs. 31000/- for 1 st & 2nd year and 35000/- for the 3rd year. Date and venue of interview: 1st July, 2019 at 12:00 hrs. in the office of the Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Calcutta, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata 700009. Candidates are requested to bring two copies of complete application materials and all originals of the testimonials at the time of interview.
