Venue: Seminar Hall, Ground Floor, Main Building, CSIR-IMTECH, Sector 39 A Chandigarh Position: Project Associate-I = 01 Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent Desirable: Candidates having hands-on experience of techniques such as basic microbiological experiments, bacteriophages, protein purification and characterization, ELISA/immunodiagnostic assays, Nanoparticle synthesis, etc. Preference will be given to candiates having experience of working in research laboratory. Upper Age limit (years) - 35 Monthly Emoluments: (i) Rs. 31,000/- +HRA to Scholars who are selected through a (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions. (ii) Rs. 25,000/- +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above Position: Project Associate-II = 01 Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent, and (ii) Two years research experience in Research and Development in industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services Desirable: Hands on experience of techniques such as, Nanoparticles/nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, conjugation chemistry, bacteriophages. Knowledge of electrochemical techniques and handling of clinical samples. Candidates having industrial exposure (of electrochemical testing/diagnostic industries, LFIA prototyping) will be preferred.
