Applications are invited for the post of One Research Associate and two Junior/Senior Research Fellows (JRF/SRF) from life sciences background for the ICMR-funded project entitled “Mechanistic exploration of pathways leading to carcinogenesis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection” under Principal Investigator, Prof. Seyed E. Hasnain and Dr. Asrar Ahmad Malik.
Name of the Post – Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF)
No. of Posts – 02
Age Limit – Upper age limit is 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC persons as per Govt. of India rules.
Fellowship – Rs 31,000/- + 24% HRA
Educational Qualification – Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 60% marks or above. NET/ GATE qualification is preferred.
Experience - Candidate should have at least 1 year of molecular biology experience (Cloning, Western Blot, PCR etc). Those who do not have 1 year research experience need NOT to apply.
Name of the Post – Research Associate (RA)
No. of Posts – 01
Fellowship – Rs 47,000/- + 24% HRA
Educational Qualification - PhD in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or any other related interdisciplinary engineering and/or science, from reputed institute with strong experience and publication record from PhD work and related work.
Experience - Candidate should be adept at molecular biology techniques (Mice handling, Cytometry, CRISPR-Cas9 mediated gene editing, etc).
Name of the Post – Lab Attendant
No. of Posts – 01
Age Limit – Upper age limit is 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC persons as per Govt. of India rules.
Salary – Rs 20000/-
Educational Qualification – 12th pass or above and must have at least two year experience of working in biology and R&D labs.
Experience - Candidate should have at least 2 year of molecular biology experience (Media and buffer preparation, Knowledgeable in Good laboratory practices).Those who do not have 2-year research experience need NOT to apply.
