Advertisement for the post ofTechnical officer and LabTechnician
Applications are invited for the post of TechnicalofficerandLabTechnician to actively work on the project entitled “To develop novel antiviral platforms and identify drug against henipaviruses like Nipah and hendra” funded by an International funding agency Good Venture foundation in association with Open Philanthropy at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with project.

1 Technical Officer MSc in any branch of biological sciences from any reputed university with at least 4 years of research experience in Academia or in Industry OR PhD in any branch of biological sciences from any reputed university.
Age Limit: Up to 35 years on closing date of advertisement
Project Duration: Till the end of the project: 2.0 years (subject to satisfactory performance)
2 Laboratory technician BSc in any branch of biological sciences from any reputed university with at least 1 year of research experience in Academia or in Industry
Age Limit: Up to 30 years on closing date of advertisement
Project Duration: Till the end of the project: 2.0 years (subject to satisfactory performance)
Exerience in: DrugDiscovery/ Diagnosticassay development/ MolecularBiology/Prot einPurification/ Aptamertechnology/ and Projectreport preprationand Laboratory managementskills
Exerience in: Autoclaving, Media prepration, PCR and other routine laboratorywork
