Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Life Sciences (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology etc) from a recognized university or institute. Preferable Qualifications: The candidates qualified in UGC-NET/GATE/ DBT/ICMR exams would be preferable. Basic knowledge in handlingmammalian cell cultures and molecular biology techniques would be an added advantage. Tenure of the Project: 3 years Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 plus HRA per month for the First & Second Years and Rs. 35,000 plus HRA/ month for the third year (if qualified in UGC-NET/GATE/ DBT/ICMR exams else would be paid by University norms). Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable solely based on the performance (maximum extension for 3 years).
