Ref No: BT/PR30629/BIC/101/1093/2018 Date: 04th June, 2019 Visakhapatnam Advertisement for the post of JRF in a research project sanctioned by DBT, Government of India Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the research project entitled “Induction of ferroptosis in drug tolerant oral cancer stem cells (CSCs): Effect on CSC self renewal and molecular mechanisms involved therein”.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Life Sciences (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology etc) from a recognized university or institute.

Preferable Qualifications: The candidates qualified in UGC-NET/GATE/ DBT/ICMR exams would be preferable. Basic knowledge in handlingmammalian cell cultures and molecular biology techniques would be an added advantage.

Tenure of the Project: 3 years Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 plus HRA per month for the First & Second Years and Rs. 35,000 plus HRA/ month for the third year (if qualified in UGC-NET/GATE/ DBT/ICMR exams else would be paid by University norms).

Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable solely based on the performance (maximum extension for 3 years).
