Call For Applications for three (03) Temporary positions of Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) Under CDDL Program on Avian Influenza project; Two (02) Temporary Positions of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) one each under SERB & DBT Projects; One (01) Temporary Position of YP-II under CRP on Vaccines & Diagnostics Project

Applications are invited for three (03) temporary positions of Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) under CDDL program on Avian Influenza project; Two (02) temporary positions of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) one each under SERB project entitled “Development of a monoclonal antibody based E rns antigen capture-ELISA for diagnosis of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV) infection in cattle” and DBT project entitled “Molecular Platform for Epidemiology, Disease Mapping and Development of Diagnostics for Economically Important Diseases of Ducks” and one (01) temporary position of YP-II under CRP on Vaccines & Diagnostics Project entitled “Development of antibody based rapid test for detection for H5 avian influenza virus in poultry”.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under following SERB Project.

1. Development of a monoclonal antibody based Erns antigen capture-ELISA for diagnosis of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV) infection in cattle.

One (01) M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Microbiology/ Vety. Virology/ Vety. Immunology/ Animal Biotechnology or M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Virology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry with wet lab dissertation work (or minimum 6 months experience) on animal/ human infectious diseases and having valid NET qualification. (UGC/ CSIR/ ICAR/ ICMR/ GATE/ JAM/ JEST/ JGEEBILS/ Biotechnology Eligibility test and test conducted in bioinformatics by Bioinformatics National Consortium). or M.Tech Degree in Biotechnology with 4 years of B.Tech Degree with wet lab dissertation work (or minimum 6 months experience) on animal/ human infectious diseases.

Three Years (upto October-2021) Rs. 25000/= PM + HRA @ 20% 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

1. Molecular platform for epidemiology, disease mapping and and project development of diagnostics for economically important diseases of ducks.

One (01) No. of position M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Microbiology/ Vety. Virology/ Vety. Pathology/ Animal Qualifications Biotechnology/ Vety. Public Health or M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology or equivalent having NET qualification (ICAR/ CSIR/ UGC/ MHRD-GATE/ DBT-BET/ ICMR-JRF) or M.Tech degree in Biotechnology with 04 years of B.Tech degree with Wet Lab dissertation work.

Duration Rs. 25000/= PM + HRA @ 20% for the first 02 years and Rs.28000/= + 20% Remuneration HRA for 3rd year.

35 years for men and 40 years for women.

One (01) No. of position M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Microbiology/ Vety. Virology/ Vety. Immunology/ Qualifications Animal Biotechnology/ Vety. Public Health. or M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology. or M.Tech degree in Biotechnology with Wet Lab dissertation work.

Duration Remuneration Age Limit

Preference will be given to the candidates having relevant work experience.

The engagement will initially for a period of 01 year.

Rs.25000/= only consolidated.

The minimum age under young professional category will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

Note: - Candidates not providing proof of original/provisional degree certificates as per the essential qualification mentioned will be rejected and will not be considered for short listing for appearing in the interview.

--3-2. The engagement of SRFs/ JRFs/ YP-II will be on purely temporary basis and the selected candidates shall not have any right to claim for regular appointment

under ICAR NIHSAD, Bhopal (M.P) and

his/her engagement will be terminated immediately after one year and extendable upto 03 years for SRFs / three years or upto the termination of the project whichever is earlier for JRFs / 01 year or extended period if given for YP-II without any notice. The ICAR NIHSAD, Bhopal will hold no responsibility for payment of salary/regular appointment etc. after expiry/termination of the project.

3. Candidates who wish to appear for SRFs / JRFs / YP-II are requested to submit their applications separately in the prescribed format.

4. Original Degree/Provisional Degree certificate/marksheet and experience certificate (if any) will have to be produced at the time of interview.

5. General CDDL/DST/DBT/ICAR guidelines for Contractual Employment will be applicable.

6. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for attending the interview.

7. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates. The decision of the Director, NIHSAD, Bhopal will be final in selection.

8. Only those who are interested to serve at least for a period of one year may apply.
