Subiect:-InternshipstartinginthemonthofApril-2023underInternshipScheme2021 atFoodSafetyandStandardsAuthorityofIndia

1.FoodSafety&StandardsAuthorityofIndia(FSSAI)isstatutorybodyestablished undertheFoodSafety&StandardsAct,2006undertheaegisofMinistryofHealth&Family Welfare,GovernmentofIndia.Itistheapexbodyresponsibleforensuringfoodsafetyand compliancetofoodstandardsacrossthecountry.FSSAIinternshipprogramwillprovide Internswithuniquelearningopportunitiesinvariousareasoffoodregulationoffoodsafety administration.

2. EligibilityCriteria:

StudentsonlypursuingafulltimeGraduate/PostGraduateDegree/higherdegreefrom aRecognizedInstitutewithinIndia/abroad,inanyofthefollowing:

(a)PursuingPostGraduateDegree/B.Tech/BEfromarecognizedUniversityor InstitutioninChemistryorBiochemistryorFoodTechnologyorFoodScience& TechnologyorFood&NutritionorEdibleOilTechnologyorMicrobiologyorDairy TechnologyorAgriculturalorhorticulturalSciencesorIndustrialMicrobiologyor ToxicologyorPublicHealthorLifeScienceorBiotechnologyorFruit&Vegetable TechnologyorFoodSafety&QualityAssurance.

(b)BusinessAdministration&Managementincludingpolicyregulationandrelated fields.-OnlyatFSSAI(HQ)

(c)PGDiploma/Degreein,Journalism,MassCommunicationandPublicRelations.

(d)B.E./B.Tech(Only3 rd and4 th Yearstudentsnotfor2 nd or1 st Year)inComputer Science/InformationTechnologySoftwareEngineeringorrelatedStream.

(e)PostGraduateDegree/DiplomainPublicPolicyPublicAdministration.-Onlyfor FSSAI(HQ).

(f)Bachelor/MasterofLaw.-OnlyforFSSAI(HQ)

Note:

(i).Allthestudentswhohavecompletedtheirabovementionedcoursesneednottoapply.

(ii).MultipleApplicationswillnotbeentertained.

3. Tenure: InternshipwillbeavailablethroughouttheyearatdifferentPointsoftime,Internship willbeofferedfordurationofupto03months,whichmaybeextendedtoamaximum periodof06months.Nointernshipofdurationlessthanamonthwillbeoffered.

6. ApplicationProcess:

(a)Interestedandeligiblestudentscanapplyonlineinthespecifiedformatasper thetimelinesprovidedbyFSSAI.Applicants,whohaveappliedforinternshipfor previousmonths,needtoapplyafresh .

(b)Theshortlistedcandidatesmayberequiredtosubmitashortwrite up/presentationforfinalselection.

(c)Thefinallistofselectedcandidatesalongwiththeirdateofjoiningand InternshiptenurewouldbedeclaredonlineonFSSAIwebsitebytherespective officewheretheyhaveoptedforinternship.

(d)Atthetimeofjoining,Internwouldberequiredtocarryaletterfromtheir Instituteindicatinghis/herstatusintheInstitutionasastudentand"NoObjection Certificate"forallowinghim/hertoundergoInternshipProgramfortheperiodfor whichhe/sheisselected,ifapplicable.Acharactercertificatefromtheauthorityof theInstitute,alongwithproofofeducationalqualificationsasmentionedinthe applicationformwouldalsoneedtobesubmittedatthetimeofjoiningfor internship.

(e) Since,Internshipschemewillbescheduledonquarterlybasisthroughout theyear,henceanyrequestforextensionofjoiningtimebytheinternsfor morethanaweekwillnotbeaccepted

InternswouldbeattachedtooneoftheseveralDivisionsatFSSAI(HQ)/ROs/Labs dependingontheacademicandtechnicaltrainingandassignedproject(s)relatedtodifferent aspectsofFoodandNutritionManagementProcesses.

AstipendofRs.10,000/-(Rupeestenthousandonly)fortheinternshipperiodwillbegiven tothe deservingInterns ontherecommendationoftheOffice/Divisionthattheyare attachedwithbytheFSSAI(HQ).Thecriteriafordeservinginternswillbedecidedbasedon their(a)attendance,(b)assessmentbytheirrespectivereportingofficers;and(c)evaluation ofthereportbytheCommittee.
