A walk-in-interview will be held on 26 September 2019 (Thursday) at the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati for selection of suitable candidate for the following post under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India funded time-bound research project entitled “Human microbiome as a therapeutic target for improving women health: Role of vaginal and gut microbiota in the onset and pathogenesis of premature natural menopause�. Post-graduation in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Bioinformatics with at least 55% aggregate marks
Experiences in microbiome/microbiota, molecular biology, metabolite analysis. Experience of working with LINUX operating system will be a plus point.
Emolument
Rs . 12,000 per month (consolidated)
Age: The upper age limit is 28 years as on 26/09/2019 (relaxable for reserved categories a per GoI norms). Duration: Initial recruitment is for 01 (one) year and further extension will be based on performance review. If the aggregates of educational qualification marks are given as grade points (CGPA, etc.), it must be converted into percentage.
