Project Assistant position in SERB-SCP sponsored research project
Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant to work in the Science and Engineering Research Board project, scheme Special Call for Proposals (SERB-SCP), New Delhi (Govt. of India) sponsored research project entitled "Evaluation of ecologically significant grasses of arid environment of Rajasthan under independent and interactive heatwave and ozone exposure: Identifying conservation strategy under climate change scenario" (Sanction order No. SCP/2022/000339) at Department of Environmental Science, School of Earth Sciences, Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, Rajasthan
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with project. Position is initially available for two years, which may be extendable based on the candidate's performance on yearly basis

Name of the positions: Project Assistant.
Qualification:
The applicant must have a B.Sc. (Honors) or M.Sc. degree in Environmental Science/Botany/ Atmospheric Science/Biological Science with CGPA point scale or 55% marks (where CGPA is not awarded) Relaxation of 5% in minimum requirement of marks will granted to ST/SC/OBC/PWD/EWS category candidates Highly motivated and research oriented
Candidates with good aboratory hands along with theoretical knowledge of the subject and research aptitude will be preferred.
Fellowship: As per DST rules. (INR 20,000/- pm + HRA)
Duration: 02 Years (extendable for another year based on performance)

Candidates may please note the following:
