Advertisement for Walk-in-Interview for the post of Short term Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali Online Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of JRF in research project at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.

Principal Investigator: Bhanu Prakash, Scientist-C Name of the position available: Junior Research Fellow-1 Number of positions available: One Qualifications: Essential: 1. Master degree in Chemistry/Physics/Material-science/Engineering or Related Areas 2. Qualified: CSIR or UGC-NET/GATE/JEST/DST-INSPIRE or other National Level qualifying examination.

Desirable: Research experience in biosensing/electrochemical/ material chemistry/ device fabrication is preferred.

Age limit: The upper age limit shall be 28 years as on 02.03.2020, which is relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/OBC, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants.

Date of walk-in-interview: 2nd March 2020 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM (reporting time 11:30 AM) Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 16 % HRA (JRF) Project duration: one year General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary on contractual basis and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and availability of fund. The position is co-terminus with the

project. Candidate selected for JRF position can also apply for the regular PhD program of INST provided they satisfy eligibility criteria.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Mode of Interview: Candidate should appear for interview in person.

However, candidates residing far off may opt to online interview through Skype, subject to the prior approval of the undersigned. (Request along with the Skype ID should be sent at bhanup@inst.ac.in before 25th February, 2020) Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials, Dissertation Thesis, Project Reports of earlier work done along with 3 copies of CV must be presented at the time of interview. One set of self-attested photocopies of these documents with 1 passport size photographs must be submitted at the time of interview.

Last Date: The soft copy of the applications in single PDF file (Detailed CV with the name of two referees, Marksheets (Class X, XII, Bachelor and Master), One Page Write-up on Research Experience/Work) must reach to bhanup@inst.ac.in on or before 25th February, 2020.
