In Chemistry, Physics or Applied Mathematics (b) CGPA of 7.0 or above in Bachelor’s degree and 7.5 or above in Master’s degree (c) Qualified National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and/or GATE or Passed National level examinations conducted

by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions Desirable : (d) Programming skills in Python/ Fortran/ C or C++ (e) A strong interest in Statistical Mechanics will be much appreciated.

The duty of the JRF would be to conduct thorough research activities concerned with the current project, documentation and preparation of reports related to the project and any other duties associated with the project. The JRF also needs to complete the requirements regarding course work.

This is to inform that IIT Mandi reserves the right to fix the criteria for shortlisting of eligible candidates from those satisfying advertised qualifications for the JRF post.
