CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF TAMIL NADU THIRUVARUR- 610 005, TAMIL NADU Molecular Pharmacology/ Toxicology Laboratory Department of Life Sciences School of Life Sciences Advertisement for the Position of Junior Research Fellow Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on contract basis to work in a time bound DST-SERB sponsored research project (EMR/2017/002793) sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Life Sciences, Central University of Tamil Nadu.

Details of the Position and Number of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 1 (One) Post Project Title:Elucidating the molecular mechanisms of oxidized phospholipids-mediated neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s disease.

Monthly Fellowship: Rs.31,000/- (for CSIR/ UGC-NET/ GATE/ ICMR-JRF/ DBT-JRF qualified) and+ 8% HRA Tenure of Position:1 (One year), extendable annually till the completion of the project period, subject to satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualification: MSc in Life Sciences/ Zoology orany other relevant disciplines with minimum 55% with CSIR-NET/UGC-NET/ GATE/ICMR-JRF/DBT-JRF. Desirable: Experience in handling small animals (rats or mice), and cell biology and molecular Biology research experience.

Age Limit: 28 years (to be relaxed as per rules of Govt. of India) Documents to be Presented at the Time of Interview: 1.
