Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project with following details: Title of the project: “A Biotechnological approach to elucidate adaptation mechanism, migration pattern and reproductive biology of indicator temperate alpine plants in Himalayas in response to changing climate� Principal Investigator: Dr. Arun Chettri (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Sikkim University, 6th Mile Tadong, Gangtok-737102. Co-Investigator: Dr. Arun Kr. Rai, Department of Botany, Sikkim University Name of the positions: Junior Research Fellow (01 No.) tenable at Department of Botany, Sikkim University Essential qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany or relevant discipline preferably with NET or equivalent. Desirable qualification: Experience of working in mountain environment. Candidate with NET qualification or equivalent will be preferred. Fellowship: 31000/- plus 8% HRA (As per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-8/2018, dt. 30.01.2019) Duration: Three years or up to the termination of project, subject to annual performance review.
