WALK-IN-INTERVIEWS The Walk-in-Interview for the position of Two Senior Research Fellows, three Junior Research Fellows and one Intern in below mentioned projects will be conducted at this Institute on 23.06.2021 at 10.00 A.M. on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before the Selection Committee as per scheduled date and time for Walk-in-Interview at ICAR-CSSRI, Karnal.

DESIRABLE :  Experience of working in field experiments  Experience in analysis of soil chemical properties particularly soil N fractions.

ESSENTIAL : M.Sc. in Agronomy/ Soil Science and Agricultural chemistry/ Soil science/ Chemistry/ Geology/ Remote Sensing with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree with NET qualification OR Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences/ Geography with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

DESIRABLE :  Experience in field survey and collection of soil samples.  Experience in handling and analysis of soil/plants by sophisticated equipments.  Experience in handling software like MS--Office, ArcGIS, ERDAS/ENVI ESSENTIAL : M.Sc. in Agriculture and allied Sciences/Environmental Science

(Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per rules) The above position is purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual and coterminal basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is co-terminus with the Project. Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview on the dates as indicated against each project along with original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each their qualification certificates with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for completing necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.

Note: (1) Those candidates who are already working in any project/scheme/organization should bring “No Objection Certificate” from his/her present employer.

(2) On the date of Walk-In-Interview required Degree Certificate should be in hand.

(3) The experience will be counted after acquiring the basic minimum qualifications.
