Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following project position.
Name of position: Senior Research Fellow (01 position)
Project title: Wellcome Trust/ DBT India Alliance Funded project “Analysis of the impact of mRNAmRNA/circRNA interactions in pancreatic ß-cell physiology”
Fellowship: Rs. 35000/- + HRA@16%
Eligibility: Candidates having M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics or allied Life Science subjects with minimum 55% aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per Govt. guideline) from a recognized university and having two years of research experience are eligible to apply. Candidates should have also qualified National level examinations such as NET / GATE/ GPAT/ BET Preference will be given to the candidates with extensive knowledge and experience in animal cell culture & molecular biology techniques
Age Limit: The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 32 years as on 14.03.2023. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process.

All the positions are purely temporary and coterminous with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
