Jamia Hamdard ICMR Funded Biotech Project Position

Jamia Hamdard Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi-110062 ADVERTISEMENT FOR SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW IN AN ICMR FUNDED PROJECT Tile of Project: “Screening of Poly-pharmacophore Carbapenems against Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis”.

Number of positions: One Essential qualifications: 1) First class M.Sc. Biosciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or any other related branch of Biology.

2) Experience: Two years research experience in the area of tuberculosis or infectious diseases research. Candidate should have experience in cloning, protein expression and purification, biochemical assays, protein-drug interaction studies and microbial culture.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidate who has (1) Authored a publication in a peer-reviewed international journal; (2) Proficiency in English language; (3) Ability to read and write scientific literature.

Emoluments: 35,000 + 24% HRA i.e. 8,400 Duration of appointment: The position is initially for a period of one year, subjected to extension after review of candidate’s performance and project report in first year.
