Anna University Centre for Food Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Chennai- 600025, Tamil Nadu, India Advertisement for Research Staff recruitment Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant in the research project entitled “Biofuel Production using cyanobacterial chassis- Biosensor based approach for metabolic engineering” sponsored under DST Inspire Faculty Program funded by DST at Centre for Food Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Emoluments: Rs. 14,000/- pm (consolidated). The incumbent will not be eligible for any other allowances. Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biological Sc. Desirable: The candidate is expected to culture cyanobacterial strains and conduct laboratory experiments. Prior experience in molecular biology techniques is desirable. Candidates are expected to lead a project and establish collaborative research; hence, must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
