The Technical Research Centre (TRC), funded by the Department of Science & Technology and Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata invites applications from Indian nationals to appear for a “Walk-In-Interview� for the post of Project Students (3 positions) in the TRC Project on contractual basis: Essential Qualification: M. Sc./ M. Tech in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Applied Optics/ Photonics/ Instrumentation/ Biological Science/ Chemical Science/ Materials Science/ Electronics Science/ Biomedical Engineering/ Science. First Class/ division in qualifying degree The candidates should have earned qualifying degree not before 2 years from the date of advertisement.
Fellowship: Rs.32,500/-(approximately) per month including all the allowances. Note: For candidates with exceptional academic record and/or experience that are closely aligned with requirements of TRC, the age and experience may be relaxed by the competent authority. For SC, ST and OBC candidates the relaxation as per GOI rules will apply. Period of contract will be initially for 1 (one) year.
