Research Associate (Level: 1) - 01 Senior Research Fellow-01 To Investigate the role of Oral-Gut-Liver Axis (Oral Microbiota) in Liver Graft Dysfunction/Rejection

Funding agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Project duration (years): Three Year Date of start: 01.07.2021 Laboratory: Pathology, ILBS, New Delhi Job description: Research Associate (level-1): 01 1. Planning research activities and providing research design for a project and/or program 2. Designing the most appropriate methodology in carrying out identified research goals 3. Designing experiments, data collection protocols, and standards 4. Advanced analysis of research results & Conducting data collection activities 5. New research activities, including assisting in the preparation of research grant applications and contract proposals 6. Participating in the writing of research papers, the preparation of presentations and publications 7. Presenting research results in laboratory meetings, seminars, scientific conferences 8. Supervising support staff and as and when required according to project requirement 9. Assisting with related administrative duties

Senior Research Fellow: 01 1. Conducting research activities and providing research design for a project and/or program 2. Carrying out appropriate methodology in identified research objectives 3. Designing experiments, material data collection, and standards 4. Analysis of research results 5. Conducting research material and data collection activities 6. Participating in the writing of research papers, the preparation of presentations and publications 7. Presenting research results in laboratory meetings, seminars, scientific conferences 8. As and when required according to project requirement

Eligibility: RA (level 1): 01 Essential: Ph.D. degree in experimental biological sciences like Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology, Biotechnology/genomics/ human genetics/bioinformatics.

Desirable: Hands on Experience in Gut Microbiome, NGS, DNA, RNA, MHC, PCR SRF: 01 Essential: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Genomics/Human Genetics) + 2 years research experience.

Desirable – Hands on Experience in Gut microbiome, NGS, DNA, RNA related work, PCR

Remuneration: As per Guidelines of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (Office memorandum SR/S9/Z-08/2019; dated 30th January 2019).
