TERM OF REFERENCE FOR ENGAGEMENT OF ONE PROJECT ASSISTANT UNDER ORNITHOLOGY RESEARCH PROGRAMME IN CHILIKA DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (CDA)

1. The Project Assistant must be a M.Sc. (Life Sciences) from a reputed recognised University with minimum 60 % Marks.

2. To undertake bird count, bird ringing, colour marking and bird migration studies in Chilika lake.

3. Survey of dead birds and nest survey 4. Assist CDA in bird conservation and habitat management activities 5. Undertake annual bird census 6. Associate with BNHS to undertake bird migration and monitoring training programme to Forest Department Officials and other line department.

7. Publish the Scientific papers and also submission of monthly progress report to the Authority 8. The Head Quarter is BNHS Regional Center, WRTC, Barkul (Near Balugaon) 9. The above all programme will be in association with BNHS. 10. The monthly remuneration will be 16000.00 per month
