ICMR-NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MALARIA RESEARCH IDVC, Field Unit,, Civil Hospital, Nadiad, Gujarat WALK-IN-INTERVIEW Following positions are to be filled up on purely temporary and contractual basis for a period of one year or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier under the project entitled “Phase III trial of three formulations of Natural (20.6%EC, 2.5% G30 and 7.48% DT) against larvae of Aedes aegypti and Anopheles stephensi and two formulations (20.6%EC, 2.5% G30 against Culex quinquefasciatus in three eco-epidemiological settings in India”.

1. Project Consultant-One-On a contractual emolument of Rs.50,000/-per Month.

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences and research experience in Vector Biology/Malaria or Retired Govt. employee with requisite educational qualification drawing pay in the Pay Band Rs.15,600-39100+ Grade Pay of Rs.6600/-at the time of retirement and having adequate working experience in the required domain/field. Age – up to 70 yrs.

2. Project Assistant -One- On a contractual emolument of Rs.31,000/-per month Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Life Science from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in Life Science. Age – up to 30 yrs.

Desirable: Experience in Entomology work/Vector Borne Diseases/ Lab. work in scientific institutes/research organization.

3. Project Technician-III-Two- On a contractual emolument of Rs.18,000/per month Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Biological Science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/lab. experience. *B.Sc. degree in Biological Science subjects shall be treated as 3 years experience. Age – up to 30 yrs.

4. Project Technician-II-Two: On a contractual emolument of Rs.17,000/per month Essential qualifications: High School or equivalent with five years experience in related field from a Govt. institution or recognized institute *Intermediate with Science subjects shall be treated 2 years experience. Age – up to 30 yrs.

5. Project Technician-I- One: On a contractual emolument of Rs.16,000/per month.

Essential Qualifications: High School or equivalent with one year experience in laboratory work from a Govt. institution or recognized institute *Intermediate with Science subjects shall be treated 2 years experience. Age – up to 25 yrs.

6. Data Entry Operator Grade B– One- On a contractual emolument of Rs.18,000/- per month Essential Qualifications: 12th Pass from recognized board. A speed test (English) of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer. Age: Up to 28 yrs

Age limit - Relaxation in deserving cases for the candidates possessing experience of working in similar research projects in Govt./Autonomous/ PSU etc.
