Salary- Rs 35000 per month (consolidated)

Project Details: The project intends to map Small Indigenous Fish Species (SIS) in the states of Assam and Odisha across scales of habitat and molecular level using a series of integrative approaches including high-throughput genomics. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Life Science/Zoology/Fisheries/Natural Science/Biotechnology or Agricultural Science from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 55% marks at CGPA level. Preference will be given to NET-LS/GATE/ICARNET or any other national exam qualified candidates. Proven experience in conducting field work in freshwater systems or application of molecular biology tools in natural science studies including fisheries or experience in taxonomy of SIS would be preferred.
